Wartime memoirs and experiences with the 13th Battalion AIF during World War I (including actions at Stormy Trench near Guedecourt, Messines, Third Ypres, and Villers-Bretonneux).
Good- minus hardback copy, issued without a dust jacket. Original blue cloth boards are quite rubbed, marked, and bumped at the corners. Spine shows chipping to the ends, and titles have become dull.
Internally tanned with heavy foxing affecting the first and last few pages, including the frontispiece plate, with lighter scattered foxing throughout the text block and edges. The front free endpaper has likely been removed, as the volume opens directly to the half-title page.
228 pages, illustrated with line drawings by David Barker.
