Black and white illustrations by Pauline Baynes. Fair hardback, no jacket. Light blue cloth covers with silver titles to spine, boards are heavily marked, damp stain to back cover with heaving rubbing to edge and a little bubbling , rubbing and bumping to edges. No inscriptions, binding firm, foxing and marks to end-papers, first and last few pages and page edges, small abrasion to ffep. A presentation label has been removed from the reverse of frontispiece with some parts still remaining, pages are generally very good with just a little foxing and minor marks to a few pages, long light crease to rear end-paper. 223 pages, illustrated.
