A beautiful antique copy of the 1904 New Zealand Official Year-Book.
This classic turn-of-the-century edition offers a deeply detailed look into Edwardian New Zealand, capturing the colony's infrastructure, trade, and social statistics at the height of the Seddon government era.

This is the original Octavo edition bound in premium brown buckram boards, featuring the highly decorative black ornamental borders and bright gilt lettering on both the front cover and the spine.

• Exterior: The cloth boards are rubbed, bumped, and marked from handling over the last 120+ years. The corners and spine ends show standard heavy shelf wear with some fraying to the cloth, but the cover art and gilt remain clear, light scratches to back cover.
• Interior & Binding: The binding is firm, tight, and structurally sound. There are no owner inscriptions or names written inside. The internal text block shows light natural tanning with foxing (age spotting) restricted primarily to the end-papers and the closed page edges.
• Pages & Map: The internal pages feature occasional light creases, minor marks and tiny chips to a few page edges from natural handling. Crucially, the frontispiece map is present and in good condition.
