Very good hardback. Red cloth boards have some rubbing and bumping to edges, spine is faded. No inscriptions, abrasion inside front board. Tissue guard to frontispiece in very good condition. Some tanning and minor marks to pages. 4 b&w illustrations plus frontispiece by Lucius Hitchcock are all present and in good condition.

A Horse's Tale is a fictional novel, written partially in the voice of Soldier Boy, who is Buffalo Bill's favorite horse, at a fictional frontier outpost with the U.S. 7th Cavalry.
