Good hardback with fair jacket. Some bumping and rubbing to edges, small parts of the paper have rubbed away from some the edges. Ffep has been removed, no inscriptions, binding firm, foxing to first and last few pages and edges. Tiny crease to some corners otherwise pages very good. Jacket is rubbed, creased, chipped, foxed and marked with tears and some loss to top edge.
The personal testimony of the leading prosecution witness in the mass trial held in Frankfurt. He escaped from Auschwitz in April 1944 and joined the partisans in western Slovakia until the war's end. Upon their escape, Vrba and Wetzler submitted a detailed report of the exterminations at Auschwitz, including names of the camp personnel and their horrific crimes.
