Karangahape Road is K' Road. It's my favourite street in New Zealand. It has daylife, nightlife, boutique shops, cafes, community, antiquity, tenacity and a red light spread around most of it. Karangahape the name stems from the Maori tongue. Whether it means "Winding ridge of human activity", "Calling on Hape" or something else, we won't know until time travel.
