Blue cloth spine has titles in blue. Illustrated endpapers. Boards have some marks & fading with rubbing and bumping to edges and a little chipping to spine ends, corners are quite worn, name and abrasion to front cover. Light occasional foxing, marks and creasing. Two pages have a long closed tear and 12 pages have a short tear in margin

219 pages prufusely illustrated in sepia within the text plus full page sepia plates, the five full page colour plates (inc frontispiece) are all present and in good condition.
