Very good hardback with jacket. Black cloth boards are a little bumped at edges, fading to spine ends, minor marks. No inscriptions, occasional light foxing. Jacket is not price -clipped (12s 6d net), it is rubbed, creased, chipped and marked with some small repaired tears, some loss to top and base of spine. 195 pages, illustrated.
The book tells the story of Private Eddie Slovik, the only American military serviceman executed for desertion (during World War II) since the American Civil War.
