The Girl's Own Annual, Edited by Flora Klickmann. Vol 46.

Publisher: 4 Bouverie Street, London: The Woman's Magazine, No Date (1925).

Red pictorial cloth boards with a decorative cover design. Binding remains firm, though the damaged spine has been historically repaired. Paper is splitting at the front internal hinge. Cover shows general rubbing, fraying, chipping, and minor marks; the spine is faded.
Internally, there is a neat previous owner's inscription dated 1926 to the front free endpaper.
The tissue guard to the colour frontispiece is foxed and creased, with occasional light foxing and creases to other pages, which otherwise remain very good, clean, and intact.

704 pages, heavily illustrated with black-and-white drawings, photographs, and colour plates.

A substantial, classic annual targeting young women of the era, compiling short stories, essays, and beautiful period illustrations. This volume offers a wonderful, detailed look into early 20th-century domestic arts, leisure activities, and social history.
