Very good hardback with jacket. Light blue cloth boards with silver titles to spine. Some compression to spine ends, fading and speckled marks to boards. No owner inscriptions, binding firm. Pages are very good, minor foxing to end-papers and edges, very light crease to corner of first few pages. Jacket is not price-clipped, has price of 8s 6d and has 'Third Impression' stated to flap. Jacket has some shelf-wear, light marks and chipping with some small closed tears to top edge, loss to bottom of spine and top edge, in removable plastic cover. B&W illustrations & colour frontispiece by Pauline Baynes. A very nice collectible copy.
