This fine publication covers "The Beetham and Williams Families, Brancepeth and Te Parae, Wairarapa 1856-1990." and was printed by G P Print for Hugh Beetham and Tom Williams in 1991. The reader is advised early that the name "Wydrop" was coined by early European settlers to the Wairarapa, who found difficulty pronouncing that Maori name. Among these settlers were the Beetham and Williams families, whose close association began when Annie Beetham married Thomas Williams at Hutt Valley.
