The issues surrounding euthanasia are confronted in this story of two young New Zealand men. As soon as Warren Ruscoe saw the broken body of his friend Greg Nesbit lying in intensive care, he knew what he would have to do. After an horrific motorbike accident, Nesbit, now a tetraplegic, had no sensation below his neck. Ruscoe helped Nesbit end his life with a cocktail of pills and bourbon on June 3, 1991.
