Good hardback with no jacket with Errata slip to Preface. Some rubbing, bumping, fading and marks, corners quite rubbed, chipping to spine ends, name to ffep, splitting to paper at internal hinges but binding firm, small piece of paper missing from front paste down, minor marks to end-papers, light foxing and some rough edges to pages, tear to outside margin of one page, page block pulling away slightly from hinge in one spot. Three maps, frontispiece and 3 full page plates with tissue guard are very good, plus illustrations in text, 468 pages, illustrated.
