Memories chiefly of the author's war experiences. Architect. Born and trained in Australia. Moved to Wellington in 1912, working with Hoggard, Prouse and Gummer. In 1935, he entered in partnership with V P Haughton and designed the Hutt Hospital. Was an active member of NZIA and RSA. Has published his memoirs `The fruitful years'. A member of the Wellington Savage Club in the 1930s.
