Large Softcover, good condition, no inscriptions, some shelf-wear, first couple of pages have a small stain on bottom edge and some of the paper has lifted where pages were stuck together, otherwise very good, minor marks. 208 pages. Profusely illustrated with b/w & colour photos.

This book was launched in conjunction with the Caroline Bay Carnival's 100th celebrations and is the result of hundreds of hours research by the author, Caroline Bay Association staff and South Canterbury Museum staff. Caroline Bay Association secretary Kevin Fahey said Mr Button's book, which covers more than 100 years of events, contained a number of "controversies". A large compilation of photographs had been sourced through archives and donated, he said.
