The property was bought in the 1930s for £300 by Jack Hamilton, and was then passed on to his son, Alan Hammy Hamilton, who died in 2022, aged 91. Over the years, the farm s use evolved from crops and dairy cows to deer and even tourism, and was visited by dignitaries.
