'Thrill Me Every Day': The Celia Dunlop Collection is stunning book documenting an extraordinary art collection. Celia Dunlop was a vibrant Wellingtonian who collected NZ art over a period of 40 years. Her collection comprises over 250 works of art, craft and contemporary jewellery, including works by some of New Zealand's most well known artists - Ralph Hotere, Bill Hammond, Gordon Walters, Peter Robinson, Bronwynne Cornish, Richard Parker, Katherine Smyth, Alan Preston, Ann Culy and many others. Also featured is a contextual essay by author and biographer Jill Trevelyan. The book was launched at the exhibition opening of the Celia Dunlop Collection at The New Dowse Gallery in Lower Hutt, May-Sept 2009.
