Full Leather binding with gold metal edges, gilt design on front cover, pages have gilt coloured edges, full page colour plates and maps.
The leather on the spine may have been replaced, the metal edges are tarnished and broken with the spine edges and clasp missing. The leather is rubbed, chipped and marked.
Some chipping to paper at front internal hinge, foxing and marks to paste-downs and end-papers. Some pages have a little chipping to edges, some marks, foxing and stains.
Full page colour frontispiece with tissue guard plus a number of full page wonderful colour illustrations.
Between the Old Testament and New Testament there are some pages for marriages and deaths which have some owner details filled in.
Over 900 pages.
