Binding firm, minor edge-wear, small split to paper on paste-down, minor marks. 
Softcover is creased, marked and chipped, tape marks to inside of front and back cover and to first and last page, chipping to page edges, some foxing, back cover and last page have some repaired tears.

All plates and illustrations are in good condition, some pages have a little chipping at edge, light creasing or foxing at edges and reverse side.
All colour plates have complete tissue guards, some of which are creased, chipped and foxed .
Frontispiece is very foxed on reverse side, full page colour plate has a small tear to bottom corner with foxing to page edges.
