Good hardback with jacket. Red cloth boards have some rubbing and compression to corners and spine ends, creasing to spine, binding firm, 2NZEF presentation plate to Sgt H R Jensen (mentioned on p192) to reverse of frontispiece that has caused tape marks, abrasion to reverse of half-title page and inside back board, tape marks and foxing to paste-downs and end-papers, pages are good with foxing to edges and minor marks. 
All fold out maps are in good condition with some light foxing. 
Jacket is rubbed, creased, chipped, marked with abrasions and tape marks.
