The book is illustrated with numerous historical and contemporary photographs, as well as maps.

About the Author Julia Bradshaw is a researcher and writer who lives on the West Coast near Kokatahi. She has worked in museums for twelve years and is currently employed at Shantytown, near Greymouth.
