There is some water damage which is worse near rear of book. Some foxing, marks and wrinkling to pages with small dark damp stain in bottom corner. Pages and illustrations at rear have large light water stains. No pages are stuck together and the text is readable.\u003cbr\u003eFold-out map at front of book is dated 1867, and in good condition.\u003cbr\u003eAll 20 illustrations are present, the large fold-out section has a closed tear to edge which joins into book.\u003cbr\u003eIllustrations 8 \u0026amp; 9 are shown as 8A and 8B on the fold-out diagram sheet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a geological and topographical survey of the Rakaia and its tributaries, the report details Haast's 1865-66 expedition, features twenty illustrations (including coloured lithographs of his watercolour paintings), and includes three appendices and a map.
