The Fulton Hogan Story 1933-1993. In 1933 Jules Fulton and Bob Hogan started a partnership which led to the establishment of Fulton Hogan Ltd. This history tells the story from the small beginnings of the early days until the company became a nationwide group with a branch in Australia, and contracting activities throughout the South Pacific. Besides being the story of two men picking themselves up from the depression of the 1930s to create a prosperous company, it is also the story of the bitumen and contracting industries and of the companies which have amalgamated with, or been taken over by Fulton Hogan.
