Good hardback without jacket. Red boards have light marks, some rubbing. bumping and fraying to corners, edges and spine ends. Fading to spine area and top edge. No inscriptions, minor abrasion inside front board. A little scattered foxing otherwise pages are quite clean for the age, small tear to paper on last paste down. Two illustrations have been coloured in neatly. 184 pages with b&w illustrations by Dorothy M. Wheeler.
