Publisher: H.Brett, New Zealand, 1887. Good hardback. Leather boards with cloth spine. Wonderful bright gilt illustration to front board. Spine is faded and wrinkled but titles are still legible. Boards are rubbed at edges and quite worn on corners. Pages are foxed but there doesn't appear to be any tears. Page edges are red. 620 pages with b&w, and colour plates, plus List of NZ Medalists, Officers and Men Killed. All illustrations present and in very good condition. Many are portraits.
