Very good condition with jacket. A little rubbing and bumping to edges. No inscriptions, pages very good. Jacket has minor shelf/edge wear with slight fading to spine. 208 pages with illustrations. The illustrations are wonderful and add greatly to the book's appeal.

Written by New Zealand's late great historian, Michael King, a lapsed Catholic at least when the book was published; it is interesting to read his personal accounts and impressions of the Church after Vatican II, as he closes this excellent book with the advent of this Council and its immediate aftermath.
