Up for sale is a highly significant, consecutive 5-volume chronological run of New Zealand Official Year-Books covering the entirety of World War I (1915 to 1919).
These hardback volumes are essential primary sources for military and social historians, capturing NZ's wartime administration, troop statistics, casualty data, and the immediate post-war transition. This set features the classic cloth covers with black lettering.

Condition Report (Fair External / Very Good Internal):
Externally, these volumes show heavy shelf wear and age consistent with their century-old history. However, internally they are remarkably clean and well-preserved.
• Internal Pages: Very Good. The internal pages are clean with light natural toning. Crucially, there are no owner inscriptions or names written inside.
• 1915 Volume: External cloth wear; both corners on the rear board are physically damaged, abrasion to cloth on rear board.
• 1917 Volume: The spine area is quite faded, with splitting to the cloth along the spine edges.
• 1918 Volume: Heavy fraying to top of the spine. Features a distinct dent and a small tear to the edge of the rear cloth board.
• 1919 Volume: Light handling marks to the closed page edges (text block exterior). Includes the original fold-out map, which remains in good, intact condition.
