Very good condition. Red cloth boards have some rubbing and fading to edges with compression to spine ends, binding firm. Owner's gift inscription to ffep, inscribed by author to previous named owner. Pages are very good with a small light stain to internal corner of last few pages. Jacket has some marks, creasing, rubbing and chipping to edges with a faded spine. Titles have faded from spine.

An account of commercial deer hunting in New Zealand -- by foot, helicopter and jetboat -- during the 1960s and 1970s. You could make a good living from deer hunting in the 60's - if you were tough enough. It wasn't just the rugged country and the hard work, poaching was rife, helicopters and equipment were sabotaged and aircraft fuel systems deliberately contaminated to make an already dangerous game deadly. 216 pages with photos.
