Training the Racehorse By Tim Fitzgeorge-Parker

Training the Racehorse By Tim Fitzgeorge-Parker.

Publisher: Pelham Books, London, 1973. First edition.

Hardback with dust jacket. The book is in very good, tidy condition with a firm binding. There is light, scattered foxing present on the endpapers and the first few pages, but the text remains clear and clean throughout. No owner inscriptions or names.
The dust jacket is completely intact but shows a little light chipping, minor marks, and some distinct fading to the spine area, foxing to flaps.

A lifelong horsemaster and racing journalist provides a wealth of information on all aspects of finding, breaking, training, and placing racehorses. Liberally sprinkled with anecdotes, which show both the humor and the drama of the racing scene, this is essential reading for anyone who aspires to train a racehorse.
