This account of my reminiscing of our life on the Chatham Islands in 1953-55 and Beyond was intended just for our two little girls who enjoyed themselves at that time, but now in their later years have hazy recollections of their many experiences while living on the Islands with us. Now in 2006, as I have many requests for a copy of by book I hope who ever reads by memoirs of the friendly, happy people we met and the many hair-raising experiences we had endured, will enjoy reading about these as much as we did living them.
