Good hardback in red cloth with gilt titles and design. Boards are rubbed, bumped and marked,  spine is faded and chipped with spitting to cloth along length but binding firm. Faint trace of erased name to ffep, pages are tanned, foxed and marked with a couple of small closed tears to edges, a few pages have creasing, one page has a small piece torn off corner.

592 pages. All the 16 b&w plates are present and in good condition.
