The real-life story of a Dutchman who served as a Nazi soldier in WW2. After being captured, POW Dalderup was transported first to Southampton, then on to Kempton Park racetrack. Following interrogations in various locations, he was being held in Liverpool in May 1945 when he learned the war had come to an end. Under threat of being tried as a traitor if he returned to Holland, Dalderup determined to escape.
