Very good hardback with jacket, binding firm, edges rubbed, minor compression to base of spine, no inscriptions, book seller label inside front board, light foxing to end-papers and edges.
Jacket has shelf/edge wear, rubbing, creasing, chipping and marks, with a couple of small tears.

In the 1970's John Mackay and two others set off to tube raft one of the most challenging rivers in NZ. They survived and the tale was published in the book John authored ‘Wild Rivers’.
