Barrie Mann ('Snow' to his mates) was born in 1928 in Central Otago. Raised during the Great Depression, he started work as a rabbiter at the age of 14 and spent most of his working life rabbiting, mustering and shearing in the rugged mountains of Central Otago. This is a humourous account of his life, from childhood days until retirement.
