Very good hardback with no jacket, Maroon cloth boards with leather spine and corners, gilt titles to spine, slight splitting to paper at internal hinges but binding firm, Wilkie & Co end-papers, some rubbing, chipping, bumping, fading and marks, small tears to bottom of spine, corners quite worn, no owner inscriptions, foxing inside boards and to end-papers, some pages and closed edges, pages very good with rough edges, minor marks, gilt colouring to top edge.
