New Zealand Medicinal Plants has become a standard reference work. The book lists New Zealand's native plants known or thought to have been used by Maori or Pakeha for medicinal purposes. The plants are arranged by family, and for each species there is information on botany, reported medicinal uses (together with those of related plants), and the chemical constituents likely to be of medicinal value.
