Author description Gregory, (Mr), Reithmaier, 1913-2004, German-born photographer and traveller. Became naturalized New Zealander after World War II when he was interned as an enemy alien. Began a photography business in Northcote, Auckland, known as Mr Gregory, then later joined the National Publicity Studios as a photographer where he became senior photographer until his retirement. Author of "Rebecca and the Maoris" and photographic publications on Auckland and Samoa.
