Brown leather hardback in fair condition, boards and edges rubbed, spine is very worn with some damage to top edge. Gilt title and design. Some of titles worn away from off spine. Gilt edges pages. No inscriptions. Cracking to paper on internal hinges. Frontispiece with tissue guard are foxed. The rest of the pages are very good. Fold out illustration to page 667 has a repaired tear. The other fold out illustration is very good. Some b&w plates with tissue guards. 759 pages.
