Hardback, very good condition for age. No jacket. Grey paper boards with full title stating 'including Little Ragged Blossom and Little Obelia by May'. Illustration of the 2 characters on front cover with yellow foliage behind. Blue cloth spine has titles in blue. Illustrated endpapers. Boards have some marks & fading with rubbing to edges and a little compression. Inscription to ffep has been twinked out. Light occasional foxing. Approx 5 pages have closed tears to bottom margin but doesn't affect text.

219 pages prufusely illustrated in sepia within the text plus full page sepia plates, the five full page colour plates (inc frontispiece) are all present and in very good condition.
