Very good hardback. Half morocco with gilt titles and decoration, full colour frontis illus. Pp 620 plus addenda pp xxxvi list of medalists and casualties at rear, 81 engraved illus and portraits, plus 9 plans and views. Maroon Morocco rubbed to spine ends and tips, Maroon cloth is rubbed at edge, starting to fray at front edge, publishers maroon stain to all page edges, small split to top of spine, minor marks and wrinkling to cloth. Binding firm, no inscriptions, light tanning and foxing, printers fault to page 118 and opposing page causing ghosting, a very nice complete copy, short tear at bottom of front free end page and lightest spotting to some of pages opposing plates due to differing paper types.
