Very good hardback with jacket, no owner inscriptions, light compression to spine ends, end-paper tanned & foxed, minor marks. Jacket is not price clipped, it is rubbed, marked and chipped with a repaired tear to front cover, spine is discoloured.
First published in 1967, The flies in my hat details Greg Kelly's life spent outdoors chasing trout, especially in his beloved Whakapapa River. 157 pages, illustrated. The cover, featuring a fisherman's hat adorned with flies, was painted by his friend, the artist Peter McIntyre.
