Light ghost of image on jacket to spine. Minor warping of edges. No owner inscriptions, bookseller's stamp to ffep.
Pages are very good. Jacket is not price-clipped, has price of 10s 6d and has 'Sixth Impression' stated to flap. Jacket has some shelfwear, light marks and chipping with a small closed tear to top edge. B&W llustrations & colour frontispiece by Pauline Baynes. A very nice collectible copy.
