Publisher: A Fullerton & Co, Edinburgh (no date). Circa 1830. All 8 volumes are in fair to good condition. Red cloth boards are worn, rubbed, marked and bumped with some chipping to spine ends. Gilt and black decoration and titles. All bindings firm. Large owner inscription to ffeps. Some splitting to endpapers in internal hinges, some marks inside boards, some foxing, some chipping to page edges with some repaired tears to margins. Illustrations and colour tartan plates have tissue guards. Vol 1 has a split to the cloth along spine edge. Vol 5 has a map of the clans at the front. Vol 6 has some repaired tears to margins. Vol 7 has some loss to the margins of 2 pages. Vol 8 has a split to the cloth along spine edge.
