Vintage 1914 NZ Official Year-Book - WW1 Outbreak Edition.

An important historical copy of the 1914 New Zealand Official Year-Book.
Published on the eve of the Great War, this crucial volume captures the exact statistical footprint, infrastructure, and demographics of New Zealand just as it transitioned onto a wartime footing.

This is the premium Octavo edition bound in decorative brown buckram boards, featuring ornate black borders and bright gilt lettering on the front cover and spine.

• Exterior: The cloth boards are rubbed, bumped, and marked from age. The corners and spine ends show standard heavy shelf wear with light fraying. The back cover features a small, distinct dent at the outer edge.
• Interior & Binding: The binding remains firm, tight, and structurally sound. There are no owner inscriptions or names inside. The text block shows light natural tanning and foxing to the end-papers and closed page edges.
• Pages & Map: The internal pages are generally clean with occasional creasing. Please note that the final two pages have a deep, long vertical crease running through them. Minor splitting to paper at front internal hinge.

A very solid, clean example of a highly collectible wartime-era volume that displays beautifully on a shelf.
